As we eagerly prepare for our 4th Annual Nikkei Celebration in Boyle Heights, we are navigating a significant and unexpected shift in the operational framework for this cherished community event. In previous years, we were fortunate to receive comprehensive support from our Council District 14. However, they have now shifted their responsibility to our organization for all associated expenses. This includes new obligations to secure necessary permits, coordinate and cover all costs for law enforcement to ensure public safety, and manage all equipment rentals. Despite these new responsibilities, we remain committed to ensuring that this vibrant celebration proceeds as planned, undeterred by financial challenges. Therefore, to ensure our celebration can continue its vibrant tradition and remain accessible to the community without facing unforeseen financial hardships, we respectfully ask for your vital financial contribution. Your support is essential in allowing us to maintain the quality and safety of this important gathering
