Boyle Heights Community Partners is proud to have a new partner with our historic nomination program: We would like to announce our Student Program Internship with UCLAhttps://phi.history.ucla.edu/whatwedo/historycorps/remote-internships/ Student interns will participate in developing historical preservation landmarking research. This will involve researching the history and significance of a historic building, home or person of significance in Boyle Heights. This internship is a good fit for students interested in urban planning, historical preservation, architecture design and issues around urban development and community activism. Please note: While this internship takes place remotely due to Covid restrictions, students should be located in Los Angeles and able to travel to Boyle Heights for a site visits. These will take place outdoors and physical distancing protocols will be maintained.
