Boyle Heights Community Partners (BHCP) is sponsoring a community beautification effort, Otomisan Lantern Competition, with 4 winners announced on August 12, 2023, at our 2nd Annual Nikkei Celebration in Boyle Heights. The winning lanterns will be installed at inside and outside locations of the historic Japanese restaurant ‘Otomisan” in Boyle Heights (2506 East First Street, Los Angeles CA 90033).

Entry Period for Competitors: Monday 15 May, 10am, through Friday 26 May 2023, 4:30pm.
Entry Fee for Competitors: $15.00
Award Ceremony for Winners: The four winners will receive their Awards at BHCP’s 2nd Annual Nikkei Celebration in Boyle Heights on 12 August 2023.
